AUSTRALIAN PACIFIC LODGES

We are a small privately owned company and have owned and operated Mungumby Lodge for the past 20 years. Since 1985 our principle has been actively involved in resort developments and hotel management on the Great Barrier Reef & Rainforest Coast; Palm Cove and Cairns. In 1996 we founded marketing company Pacific Downunder in Switzerland which successfully operates today in Australia dedicated to Mungumby Lodge & Real Estate Downunder. In 2001 Australian Pacific Lodges acquired and operates Mungumby Lodge in the northern world heritage rainforest on the Great Barrier Reef Coast in Tropical Far North Queensland. Living rural on the land with family on Cape York we know what its like to try and position your business in a fast moving environment. With more than thirty five years of tourism experience owning and managing hotels, resorts, restaurants, cafe’s, transport operator or working with dive expedition and larger scale passenger ships, we understand great deal about tourism. With a Dip Hort and horticultural apprentice behind us, we have been involved in project management developing and operating orchards, building structures, roads and dams as well as building and operating packing sheds and working on high production plantations in large scale. We have a broad range of skills that we care constantly improving on matched with principle lead integrity.
